Erhan\u00a0\u0130\u015f\u00f6zen \/ Arch\u0131tect – Found\u0131ng Member<\/em><\/strong><\/h5>\n

\u0130\u015f\u00f6zen graduated from Istanbul Fine Arts Academy in 1979-1980. During and after his studies, he has worked with the leading architects of the country. He worked as a lecturer at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts and Y\u0131ld\u0131z Technical University, Urban Planning and Restoration Departments. He took place as a board member in non-governmental organizations, and as a consultant in local governments (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Be\u015fikta\u015f and \u015ei\u015fli Municipalities). For 25 years, he has designed and implemented especially urban design, urban renewal, restoration and architectural projects in different regions of Istanbul, in Turkey and abroad.<\/p>\n

His public projects includes Ortak\u00f6y Square and Surroundings Urban Design Project, Vi\u015fnezade \u015eairler Park, Be\u015fikta\u015f Fish Market, Ortak\u00f6y Cultural Center, Afife Jale Theater, Besiktas Assembly Building, Besiktas Kartal and U\u011fur Mumcu Monument, Tema Foundation Nature Museum, Ni\u015fanta\u015f\u0131-Te\u015fvikiye Urban Design Project, H\u00fcsrev Gerede Monument in Te\u015fvikiye Square and Cumhuriyet-Halaskargazi \u015ei\u015fli Urban Design Project. Also his private sector projects includes mass housing, religious buildings, business center buildings, cultural center buildings projects and restorations.<\/p>\n

Architect Erhan \u0130\u015f\u00f6zen has published works about his projects, including \u00dcsk\u00fcdar, Taksim and Beyaz\u0131t Square, Istanbul City Guide, Yerebatan Palace, Ortak\u00f6y Square, Ni\u015fanta\u015f\u0131-Te\u015fvikiye Urban Design Project, An Apartment in \u015ei\u015fli, Cumhuriyet – Halaskargazi \u015ei\u015fli Square Urban Design Project, Architect Vedat Tek and H\u00fcsrev Gerede Monument.<\/p>\n

He has been a jury member in several competitions on architecture, painting and sculpture \u0130\u015f\u00f6zen is also a Galatasaray Congress Member, \u00c7ek\u00fcl Foundation Advisory Board Member, T.A.\u00c7. (The Foundation for the Conservation of Turkey’s Monuments, Environment and Tourism Assets) Honorary Member, T.Y.D. (Turkish Tourism Investors Association) Advisory Board Member, Bodrum International D-Marin Classical Music Festival Board Member and Founder Member of the Society for Social History Foundation.
